20.05 21:00     Juventus - Napoli

Tip 1, Odd: 2.00 @ Noxwin.com, :

 vs

Betting Tip: Juventus – Napoli
This year the final for the Italian Cup features Juventus and Napoli. The tie will be decided in one game played on Sunday night in Rome.

Juventus played and excellent season and won the title in Seria A without a single defeat. The team from Turin is undefeated in 39 consecutive league games and has won 10 of the last 11 matches in the league. Juventus has the second strongest attack in the top flight after Milan and by far the best defense – they conceded only 20 goals in 38 games. To reach the cup final, the Bianconeri defeated Bologna in the round of 16, Roma in the quarterfinals and the big rival Milan in the semi-finals – with 2:1 away and 2:2 after added time at home. Juventus, together with Roma, is the historically most successful club in the competition with nine trophies and four lost finals. However, the last trophy was won in 1995. This final will be the last appearance for Juventus for club legend Alex Del Piero.

Napoli played their best season for the last two decades – they qualified for the last 16 in the Champions League, showing first-class performances against Bayern, Chelsea and Manchester City, and finished fifth in the Seria A overall standings. With 66 goals scored in the league, the team has the third best attack in Italy, led by Edinson Cavani (the top scorer in Coppa Italia with four goals this season), Ezequiel Lavezzi and Marek Hamsik. Napoli reached the last game at Stadio Olimpico after beating consecutively Cesena, Inter and Siena. The southerners have raised this trophy three times – in 1962, 1976 and 1987. Gargano is out with suspension, but Cannavaro is fit again.

Juventus scored six times to Napoli in the two Seria A games this season and is the favouurite for winning the cup.

19.05 20:45     Bayern München - Chelsea

Tip 1, Odd: 1.80 @ Noxwin.com, :

 vs

Betting Tip: Bayern München – Chelsea
Bayern München and Chelsea will decide on Saturday night who deserves to take the most prestigious trophy in European and world club football – the Champions League. For the first time in history the final will take place in one of the finalists’ stadium – Allianz Arena in München.

Bayern is the fourth most successful club for all times in this competition. The Bavarians have won the trophy four times – in 1974, 1975, 1976 and 2001, and reached the final on another four occasions – in 1982, 1987, 1999 and 2010. Bayern played 12 games in the league this season, excluding the two victories in the qualification round against Zürich, winning eight of them and losing only three times. The biggest strength of the Germans is their home ground – they achieved victories in all matches in München, including spectacular wins against Manchester City and Real Madrid and a crushing 7:0 victory (a new record in the elimination phase in the tournament) against Swiss champion Basel. Mario Gomez has scored 12 goals so far and is only behind Leo Messi in the goalscorers’ ranking. Due to suspensions defenders Holger Badstuber and David Alaba and the defensive midfielder Luiz Gustavo will miss the final.

Chelsea can’t match the glorious history of their opponent in the tournament. Despite being one of the most consistent participants in the Champions League in the last decade, Londoners have qualified for the final only once and lost it on penalties against Manchester United in Moscow in 2008. The anti-hero from that game, John Terry is ruled out for this match after being sent off in the epic battle against Barcelona at Camp Nou in the semi-finals. Three of his teammates are suspended as well – the defender Branislav Ivanovic and the midfielders Ramires and Raul Meireles. Chelsea also won all home games in the league this season, but managed to take only one away victory – 1:0 against Benfica in the quarterfinals. The blues performed disastrously in Premiership, but won the FA Cup.

This is the last chance for Bayern to win a trophy this season and the team of Jupp Heynckes will do anything to succeed in front of their home crowd. Roberto di Matteo and his team however are everything but an easy opposition.

18.05 16:00     Rostov - Shinnik Yaroslavl

Tip 1, Odd: 1.50 @ Noxwin.com, :

 vs

Betting Tip: Rostov – Shinnik Yaroslavl
Rostov meets Shinnik Yaroslavl on Friday in the first leg of the play-offs for promotion in the Russian Premier League. The second leg will take place next Tuesday in Yaroslavl and the overall winner will compete in the top flight next season.

Rostov occupied the 13th spot in the standings of the Premier League with 48 points gathered from 12 wins, 12 draws and 20 losses, and goal difference of 45:61. The team from Rostov on Don relies predominantly on home performance – nine victories, six draws and seven defeats on own ground. Rostov played well for most of the long season, but only one victory in the last eight games saw the team of Anatoly Baidachny fall behind Krylia Sovetov in the relegation zone. All players are fit, including Edgaras Cesnauskis, who missed the last six months due to injury.

Shinnik finished fourth in the Football Championship of the National League, the second tier in Russian football, with 85 points accumulated from 25 wins, 10 draws and 17 defeats. The team from Yaroslavl scored 70 goals and conceded 56. Shinnik showed hesitations at home and allowed nine defeats in their stadium, but their away performance was almost immaculate. Twelve victories, six draws and eight losses made Shinnik the second best visiting side in the league after promoted Alania Vladikavkaz. The guests lost their last two matches and are in a series of four unsuccessful visits since March.

Rostov come from higher division and must win at home against Shinnik if they want to keep their Premier League place for the next season.
