Mertens has started the new season very well,winning 7 matches and losing 3,all on indoors surface.He is tall player and his serve is his best weapon.Mertens is going to face another tall player who got wild card for this ATP Tournament and that`s it G.Rufin.Both young players,good physically prepared but Mertens is deserving to be small favorite because he is playing indoors much much more than his today`s opponent who has played only 11 matches so far and his score is negative 3-8!Should be tight match from the beggining but Mertens has better shots which need to prevail against Frenchman Rufin.

Bayern are really much improved from the beggining of the season,now they are on 10 gamees winning streak.All the new players are understanding the tactic of the new coach Van Gaal and because of disunderstanding from the beggining they were not playing on high level.All players are very motivated,they have maybe easiest opponent to through to 1/4 .Fiorentina will miss Mutu who is banned `cos he failed on drug test,also they are missing Gamberini, Santana, C.Zanetti.Should be a good match to watch but I believe that Bayern is stronger than ever and on the other hand Fiorenta is very mediocre squad this season,they are standing on 11th place in Seria A with no big chances for Europe League.Bayern don`t have injury problems,all players are fit and ready for this clash.Bayern are playing very tough in Allianz Arena and they should extand that performances today.I`m expecting an easy win..
