Waterford – Dundalk

Waterford and Dundalk face off in the 26th round of the Irish First Division. The five-time champions for the last seven seasons faces the threat of relegation.  Waterford is in phenomenal form after starting terribly in the first part of the season. The team currently has five wins in their last six league games, Dundalk, on the other hand, are in a series of three consecutive losses.

Earlier in the season, the two teams exchanged one victory as a guest, in which they scored three goals each. In Dundalk’s championship years, this rivalry was not very high – scoring, but now Waterford has only one defeat in the last four games. At home, the hosts do not perform very well, but they achieved three consecutive wins and one draw in their last four matches. Despite the difficulties lately, the visitors are favorites on Friday, but our prediction is for a draw and both teams to score a goal.
