Real Madrid – Athletic Bilbao

Estadio La Rosaleda will host the Spanish SuperCup semi-final between Real Madrid and Athletic Bilbao on Thursday night. The champions finished 0-0 with Osasuna on frozen pitch, facing difficulties on their return to Madrid. In their last six matches, they have recorded two draws and four wins, one of which was against today’s opponent. The good news for Zinedine Zidane is that Danny Carvajal returns from suspension.

The Basques, on the other hand, were not in action at the weekend as their match against Atletico Madrid was postponed. In their last six games, they have won twice, drew once  and three times have lost. Yeray and Yuri are expected to miss the match due to injuries.

Having in mind that in the last 12 matches between both teams, Real Madrid have not lost, we would put our money on their win.
