Wales – Denmark

As the group stages of Euro 2020 are done and dusted, we look forward to an exciting round of 16, starting with a match-up between Wales and Denmark in Amsterdam. Both sides finished runners-up in Group A and Group B respectively and will be gunning for a place in the quarter-finals. The Dragons will be looking to bounce back after their loss to Italy in their last game, while Denmark produced a great escape on the final matchday in Group B. They thrashed Russia 4-1 to climb up from the bottom of their group and finish second behind runaway leaders Belgium.

There have been 10 previous clashes between the sides before, with Denmark holding the upper hand with six wins, including both home and away during the 2018/19 UEFA Nations League, almost three years ago. It’s going to be a tough encounter but we’re placing our bets on Gareth Bale and co. to win and reach the last-8.
