HIFK – HJK

Bolt Arena will host Wednesday’s football match between HIFK and HJK, the two teams who sit in the top half of the table. HIFK have been playing above expectations in the 2021 Veikkausliiga campaign and are eyeing their third home win of the process.

Helsinki, on the other hand, are determined to defend their Veikkausliiga trophy. The title holders are on an eight-game winning run in the national championship. HJK defender Daniel O’Shaughnessy returns from international duty, while spanish defender Pipe is banned for the hosts.

HIFK is in mixed form in Finland Veikkausliiga and they won four home games, while HJK  won five away games. Having in mind the hosts have won two times in their past 18 meetings with HJK, we predic an away win.
