Degerfors is coming to this clash after a pretty inconvenient defeat last time on the road against Hammarby when they were convincingly outplayed with a 5:1 result. Degerfors is at 7th spot in the general standings, being five points in deficit compared to the European-placed Elfsborg.
After successfully progressing further to the next phase of the Champions League qualifiers, as they won over Riga from Latvia with a total aggregate of 1:2, Malmo can move attention to Allsvenskan, at least for now. Their latest appearance in the domestic league was quite convincing, as they recorded a 4:0 home victory against visitors from Sirius, in a pretty much one-sided encounter. Malmo is currently at the leading spot on the table, leaving their closest Djurgarden with two points in deficit.
The offensive capabilities of the guests are not in question, as they are one of the most effective squads so far in this season, but are showing vulnerabilities in the back. Our prediction is both teams to score a goal.
