Both Paderborn and Nurnberg failed to get the new season off to a winning start last week but both did manage to secure a point from their opening games. Nurnberg have a good recent history against Paderborn and will be hoping to use that as motivation on Friday evening.Paderborn had to settle for a point away at Heidenheim as the pair played out a 0-0 draw last weekend. Much like Paderborn, Nurnberg drew their opening game of the season 0-0 but they had the home advantage against Aue.
