Crvena Zvezda will welcome CFR Cluj to Rajko Mitic Stadium for the 1st leg of their Europa League play-off battle on Tuesday. In the previous round they also lost away from home, but then responded with a comprehensive 5:0 victory. Those two are Crvena Zvezda only defeats across the last fifty clashes in all competitions.
Cluj recorded a slender 1:0 victory at home against Farul Constanta in a match of the Romanian domestic league on Friday. They are enjoying a perfect start to the new season in Romania after winning all of the five games so far, but already crashed out of the Champions League preliminary rounds, losing 4:2 on aggregate to Young Boys.
