Venezia – Fiorentina

Venezia are set to play Fiorentina at the Stadio Pier Luigi Penzo on Monday in the Serie A. Venezia come into this game on the back of a 1-1 draw against Walter Mazzarri’s Cagliari in the league. Fiorentina, on the other hand, lost 2-1 to Luciano Spalletti’s Napoli in their most recent league game.

This is the first time Venezia and Fiorentina are facing each other in the Serie A. Venezia are currently 17th in the league table, and have won only one of their last five league games. They did well to get promoted to the Italian top-flight, but have a tough job in their hands as they seek to remain in Serie A. Fiorentina, on the other hand, are 5th in the league table and should win here.
