Manchester United – Crystal Palace
05.12.2021
Stability has been injected at Manchester United and there’s a level of confidence in their game too. They will host Crystal Palace in their next game, hoping to continue with the good run in the last three games. Going to this game, United are seventh with 21 points while Palace are 11th on 16 points. Coming from a run of three matches without tasting defeat will surely boost the confidence levels at United. They get to this game with Ralf Rangnick in charge and the win over Arsenal on Thursday will surely give them the needed impetus.
Crystal Palace conceded late yet again, and dropped points, as they took on Leeds United in a 1-0 loss in their last game. a 90th minute Raphinha penalty condemned them to a second straight loss and third winless outing. Now they face a tough test as they look to bounce back. They’ve failed to score in one of their last five matches but they have two clean sheets in that run. In the five matches, they’ve scored two or more goals in three and they’ll want to get their scoring touch back against Manchester United, who haven’t been the best defensively. It hasn’t been great away from home for Palace; they have just one win in the eight played this term.
Manchester United are favorites here and the fact that they are playing at home will add to their advantage. They’ve however struggled defensively and with Luke Shaw and Raphael Varane out injured, Palace will want to take advantage. The visitors do not have a good away run but have some consistency in scoring, and with that we will back both teams to score here.
This match will be played on 05/12/2021 at 16:00.
