Nantes will ensure their survival in Ligue 1 when they take Toulouse in the return match this weekend. In the first game, thanks to Ludovic Blas and Randal Kolo Muani, Nantes beat Toulouse 2-1, and Antoine Kombouare’s team gained a good advantage before the return match. Toulouse was generally better in all segments in the first game, it had more shots, possession of the ball, but in the end, they were defeated. Nantes’ attack seems strong in recent weeks, so Toulouse will have to tighten their defence in the return match if they want a triumph.
Pedro Chirivella (Defensive Midfield) played all 90+ minutes in the first game against Toulouse, but now there is news that he is questionable before the return match. Brecht Dejaegere had a minor injury in the first game and is questionable.
Toulouse will have a difficult task in this clash, and they certainly have firepower in the offensive, but, on the other hand, they do not have a strong enough defence, so I expect Nantes to win and stay in Ligue 1 next season.
