Poland – Iceland
08.06.2021
After being held by Russia, Poland face Iceland at INEA Stadion in their final warm up game before Euro 2020. The Poles will be hoping to close out their preparations with a win. Poland were held to a 1-1 draw by Russia in their previous friendly and manager Paulo Sousa will not be too bothered by the result as it was a makeshift team with several key players missing. They often do their best work on their own turf having suffered just one defeat from their last 12 home matches.
Iceland were victorious in their previous friendly, claiming a 1-0 win over Faroe Islands. They head into Tuesday’s clash off the back of eight defeats in their last 10 matches.
Our prediction is a win for Poland and under 2,5 goals.
This match will be played on 08/06/2021 at 19:00.
