Liverpool – Burnley

Liverpool started their assault on the Premier League title with a convincing 3-0 win at Norwich and this weekend they have the home advantage against Burnley. Sean Dyche’s side have caused Liverpool some problems over the last couple of seasons but they head into Saturday’s clash as outright underdogs.

Liverpool are expected to mount more of a serious title challenge this season but there are three other teams that most believe are ahead of them in the race for top place. Burnley have managed to pick up 4pts from their last two trips to Anfield but their performance at home to Brighton suggests that the Clarets are a long way off causing an upset this weekend.

Liverpool are the big favourites to win this game and we’re backing the hosts to secure a clean sheet along with all 3pts on Saturday. The hosts have won four of their last six games against Burnley, keeping clean sheets in their last two victories over the Clarets. Liverpool have won four of their last six matches in all competitions and have kept three clean sheets during that period.
