Manchester City – Norwich
21.08.2021
Man City need to put in a good performance in front of their own fans after losing their opening game of the season at Tottenham. Norwich lost 3-0 in their own backyard against Liverpool and will surely be dreading a trip to the reigning champions. Man City have won three of their last five encounters with Norwich and have kept clean sheets in four of the duo’s last six head-to-heads. Phil Foden remains sidelined for the hosts but Ilkay Gundogan could recover from his shoulder injury in time to face the Canaries.
Norwich face two of the toughest matches of their season in the opening two games and we are unlucky to see the best of Norwich until late September, early October. Sam Byram and Przemyslaw Placheta have been ruled out of the trip to the Etihad but Hernandez, Hugill and Omobamidele could return to the squad after missing out on the defeat to Liverpool through injury or self-isolation.
When these two sides last locked Horns, Man City ran out 5-0 winners and we’re predicting another big win for Man City on Saturday.
